Senior Enterprise AI, Power Platform Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create and develop enterprise AI solutions utilizing Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, AI Builder, and other related Microsoft technologies

• Construct conversational agents and AI-driven workflows that securely engage with enterprise data and business processes

• Design and apply RAG and enterprise grounding patterns using Dataverse, Microsoft 365, APIs, databases, and sanctioned enterprise repositories

• Develop agent actions and integrations through APIs, Power Automate, custom connectors, Azure Functions, and other authorized services

• Create human-in-the-loop controls, approval processes, escalation paths, and safeguards

• Build Power Platform solutions using Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, and Power Pages

• Design and consume REST APIs while creating custom connectors and integration components

• Develop supporting services and extensions using Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, and other Azure services

• Implement AI-assisted document processing, extraction, classification, summarization, search, knowledge retrieval, and workflow automation

• Design secure AI solutions that adhere to identity, authorization, role-based security, data classification, and least-privilege principles

• Implement controls for grounding, prompt management, output validation, hallucination reduction, content safety, sensitive information handling, and responsible AI practices

• Create repeatable methods for assessing AI response quality and reliability

• Implement monitoring and operational visibility for usage, errors, performance, adoption, token or credit usage, and costs

• Support application lifecycle management through Solutions, source control, environment variables, connection references, deployments, testing, and CI/CD

• Engage in technical reviews while documenting AI patterns, integrations, prompts, agent configurations, architecture, lessons learned, and reusable components

• Develop reusable AI and automation patterns

• Assess new Microsoft AI and Power Platform functionalities and suggest adoption opportunities

• Assist in creating prototypes and proofs of concept, transitioning successful solutions into secure, maintainable production implementations

• Collaborate with IT leadership, the Power Platform Technical Lead, Business Systems Analysts, cybersecurity resources, business stakeholders, and technical teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive professional experience in developing production business applications, integrations, automation, AI solutions, or related enterprise technologies

• Recent hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, encompassing Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse

• Practical experience with Copilot Studio or similar enterprise conversational/agent development technologies

• Experience in implementing generative AI, large language models, RAG, enterprise knowledge grounding, or AI-enabled workflow automation

• Strong comprehension of REST APIs, JSON, authentication, authorization, and system integration

• Professional development expertise in Python, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript

• Familiarity with Azure services utilized to enhance enterprise applications and AI solutions

• Knowledge of identity, role-based access, secure application development, and safeguarding enterprise data

• Experience transitioning solutions through Development, Test/UAT, and Production environments

• Ability to troubleshoot complex solutions that span Power Platform, AI services, APIs, Azure components, and enterprise data sources

• Capacity to independently assess technical requirements, identify trade-offs, and communicate technical recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration capabilities

• Must comply with post-offer background checks, drug testing, and/or fit-for-duty physical examination requirements where applicable

• Preferred: Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI

• Preferred: RAG, vector search, embeddings, semantic search, or related enterprise knowledge architectures

• Preferred: AI agent orchestration, tool/function calling, multi-agent systems, or event-driven agent workflows

• Preferred: Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Key Vault, Storage, Azure SQL, or similar Azure services

• Preferred: Microsoft Graph and Microsoft 365 integrations

• Preferred: Dataverse plugins, custom APIs, PCF controls, or other Power Platform extensions

• Preferred: Azure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD, and Power Platform application lifecycle management

• Preferred: Power Platform governance, Managed Environments, Data Loss Prevention policies, and enterprise connector controls

• Preferred: Microsoft Purview, data classification, information protection, or related governance technologies

• Preferred: Power BI, Fabric, Databricks, Azure AI Search, Document Intelligence, or other enterprise data and analytics services

• Preferred: Dynamics 365 integration or customization

• Preferred: Experience implementing AI or automation in regulated or security-conscious environments
