This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a designated portfolio of intricate client accounts.
• Execute collection processes and procedures.
• Investigate and address billing or payment inquiries within defined turnaround times, escalating issues as necessary.
• Reconcile accounts receivable with third-party administrators, brokers, and clients.
• Coordinate conference calls or meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Examine member eligibility and analyze rate discrepancies.
• Evaluate client data utilizing reports and various resources.
• Manage group renewals, new business, terms, and modifications.
• Conduct periodic account reconciliations.
• Calculate and generate special charge invoices.
• Monitor delinquency reports and communicate with TPA partners.
• Perform peer audits to ensure quality and reduce financial risk.
• Achieve or surpass daily, quality, and personal development objectives.
• Track and evaluate customers’ financial performance using suitable tools.
• Address customer disputes and rate concerns with matrix partners.
• Identify and execute process enhancements in collaboration with matrix organizations.
• Utilize accounting principles.
• Prepare monthly and ad hoc reports.
• Deliver customer service to both internal and external clients.
• Process, review, and comprehend inputs from various systems.
• Provide support for special projects.
• Conduct electronic invoicing.
• Apply financial payments to accounting systems.
• Perform filing and general administrative tasks.
• Assist the cash team with cash and census applications, mailings, filing, and electronic invoicing.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience is mandatory; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in billing, accounting, or collections roles.
• Proficient in 10-key data entry.
• Strong expertise in Excel.
• Knowledge of Genasys, SAP, and PCRS systems is preferred, or a quick learner of new applications and systems.
• Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail, focused on quality.
• Familiarity with Microsoft applications.
• Demonstrated strong problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of managing time effectively and prioritizing tasks appropriately.
• Ability to multitask and adjust priorities as needed.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work from home with cable broadband or fiber optic internet, achieving speeds of at least 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload.
