Senior Engineering Manager, GoFlow

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of engineers.

• Conduct performance assessments while providing constructive feedback and opportunities for professional growth.

• Collaborate with product, design, analytics, marketing, and telemedicine teams on strategies and initiatives for growth.

• Oversee project timelines, resources, and budget management.

• Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Guide the team in adopting industry best practices and standard operating procedures.

• Ensure stringent quality assurance processes within an agile development setting.

• Enhance platform scalability and performance.

• Drive the architecture, reliability, and developer experience for GoFlow.

• Lead cross-functional migrations, eligibility and checkout orchestration, as well as next-generation platform architecture.

• Anticipate business and industry challenges and propose innovative solutions.

• Oversee multiple teams comprising individual contributors and/or managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, including managing and leading teams in fast-paced, hyper-growth environments.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next, GraphQL, and Node.

• Demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing teams.

• Strong background in full-stack development and architecture.

• Experience in designing, building, and scaling web platforms for high-traffic applications.

• Familiarity with agile frameworks and project management methodologies.

• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and make swift decisions in a dynamic environment.

• Clear and concise communication skills suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.

• Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset.

• Capability to manage multiple teams of individual contributors and/or managers.
