Senior Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee and provide support to various engineering teams and their respective Team Leads.

• Enhance delivery methodologies, team performance, and overall engineering efficiency.

• Assist in scaling engineering processes and the organizational framework.

• Propel operational and process enhancements across different teams.

• Facilitate architectural discussions and contribute to long-term technical strategies.

• Guide and mentor engineers and engineering leadership.

• Foster improvements in planning, communication, and collaboration across teams.

• Play a role in shaping engineering culture and driving organizational growth.

• Collaborate closely with the CTO, CPO, and various Team Leads.

• Provide support to customer-oriented product teams or infrastructure and operational teams, which include Payments, Trading, Pension, and Back Office systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven engineering management experience overseeing multiple teams or Team Leads.

• Prior background in software engineering, preferably in backend or full-stack roles.

• Experience in product-based companies as opposed to purely outsourcing environments.

• Demonstrated success in scaling teams, processes, and engineering organizations.

• Expertise in developing engineering processes and delivery methodologies.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capacity to function amidst uncertainty and independently drive initiatives.

• Collaborative leadership approach with a strong focus on mentoring.

• Proficient in English at a C1 level.
