📋 Description

• Oversee the Monetization Infrastructure engineering team, reporting to the VP of Platform Engineering.

• Take a hands-on approach and lead from the front; provide technical guidance and direction to the team, acting as a check and balance on critical technical decisions while influencing technical strategy.

• Engage in and contribute to system designs and code reviews.

• Ensure the high-quality operation of the systems for which you are responsible.

• Foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement in operations.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Finance, Product Management, and other Engineering teams, to implement comprehensive use cases and maintain high service quality.

• Advocate for the proficient use of AI tools throughout the team and promote the adoption of advanced AI-assisted software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience managing engineering teams of 15+ individuals in SaaS product companies, including leading managers.

• Hands-on experience: able to understand and contribute to system designs.

• Previous experience as a staff engineer or architect with a proven record of delivering widely adopted solutions.

• Experience operating multi-tenant modules with a strong emphasis on uptime and managing operational incidents.

• Proficient in Python (mandatory) and knowledgeable in Java (desirable).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS) and concepts related to infrastructure as code is highly desirable.

• Experience in leading distributed teams.

• Proficient in utilizing AI tools throughout the engineering workflow, with a proven history of promoting advanced AI-driven SDLC adoption within a team.
