📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop engineers; facilitate their growth and career advancement.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, and senior leaders to establish a clear quarterly roadmap and deliver it in an iterative manner.

• Direct technical decisions and advocate for high-quality code, robust engineering practices, and dependable distributed systems.

• Remain engaged with the work through design and code reviews, incident management, on-call participation, and troubleshooting as necessary.

• Oversee processes that enhance engineering quality and assist the team in meeting its service-level agreements.

• Collaborate with recruitment efforts to attract and onboard top-tier engineers.

• Lead a team that develops reliable data services along with privacy and governance capabilities for responsible data utilization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of software engineering experience, preferably in data platforms or infrastructure, including at least 2 years in engineering management.

• Proven experience in building, delivering, and operating distributed systems at scale.

• Strong engineering judgment with a knack for promoting quality, maintainability, and effective development practices.

• An execution-oriented mindset: capable of navigating ambiguity, balancing immediate delivery with long-term strategy, and translating complex objectives into actionable tasks.

• A hands-on leadership approach with a readiness to engage in technical work and operational duties.

• Experience in spearheading technical transformations within a large, dynamic organization.

• Knowledge of blockchain infrastructure, including Bitcoin or Ethereum.

• Excellent communication skills, a sense of ownership, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

• Responsible utilization of generative AI while maintaining human oversight to produce business-ready outputs and enhance workflow efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
