📋 Description

• Conduct research and develop engineering designs for intricate telecommunications solutions within the power and utility sector.

• Generate comprehensive single line diagrams (SLDs) alongside complete construction packages.

• Engineer resilient telecommunications solutions that encompass fiber, microwave, SONET MUX, satellite, radio, FAN, circuit paths, power, switches, routers, TCP/IP, and firewalls.

• Produce and annotate SLDs, interconnect diagrams, WAN and LAN schematics, tower drawings, and associated documentation.

• Assess implementation feasibility and document site specifics.

• Oversee multiple projects while adhering to stringent deadlines.

• Collaborate effectively with management, substation, transmission, distribution specialists, and field technicians.

• Offer support throughout the construction phase.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent qualification.

• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.

• Over 10 years of experience in researching, architecting, and designing complex telecommunications solutions for utility companies.

• Must successfully pass a NERC CIP level background check.

• Must be a US Citizen or hold a valid Green Card (Permanent Resident Card).

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Pro, Excel, Visio, and the MS Office suite.

• Capacity to manage multiple projects under pressing deadlines.

• Familiarity with utility telecommunications solutions, including OPGW/ADSS/DWDM Fiber, Microwave, SONET MUX, MHz & Repeaters, Satellite, Radio, FAN, Circuit Paths, Power, Switches, Routers, TCP/IP, and Firewalls.
