Senior Engineer / Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze intricate operational challenges and determine root causes within cloud environments.

• Leverage AI to expedite investigation and resolution processes.

• Develop automation and AI-driven workflows to reduce repetitive tasks.

• Acquire knowledge and provide support for evolving AWS, Azure, and GCP services.

• Oversee cloud-native compute, storage, networking, identity, monitoring, and security services.

• Evaluate and report on the impact of automation and AI initiatives on efficiency, service delivery, customer experience, and reliability.

• Act as the main technical resource for managed services clients.

• Facilitate technical discussions with customers and internal account teams.

• Engage with customers regarding incidents, service requests, maintenance, and changes.

• Provide exceptional customer service while adhering to SLA commitments.

• Guide team members and spearhead technical projects.

• Offer technical leadership during complex incidents, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective measures.

• Contribute to the adoption of intelligent automation, AIOps, generative AI, and agentic workflows.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and/or military service.

• 6–9 years of experience in troubleshooting and managing core services in AWS and Azure, including compute, networking, identity, storage, monitoring, and security.

• Over 3 years of experience developing automation solutions utilizing Python, PowerShell, APIs, workflows, or orchestration tools.

• More than 3 years of experience in supporting enterprise infrastructure, cloud operations, managed services, or platform engineering environments.

• Proven ability to utilize AI tools, assistants, and automation platforms to enhance operational efficiency and speed up problem resolution.

• Experience with consuming and integrating REST APIs and cloud-native services.

• Strong analytical and systems-thinking capabilities with a talent for diagnosing complex technical issues.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Must be eligible to support public sector clients and successfully complete necessary criminal history, fingerprint-based, or other customer-mandated background checks.

• Must be a US Citizen.

• Proof of active certification(s) is required.
