This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee the implementation and commercialization of innovative packaging solutions across various formats including primary, secondary, and tertiary.
• Initiate and validate new packaging designs through trials and experiments for Beverage and Core product launches.
• Spearhead packaging commissioning both independently and in collaboration with Product Engineering, Project Management, Packaging Quality, and Program Management teams.
• Execute onsite commissioning and qualification activities across Cold Fill, Hot Fill, CSD, HAA, and LAA processes.
• Travel as necessary to facilitate project execution and provide technical training.
• Manage multiple projects with differing complexities concurrently.
• Utilize analytical tools to identify and resolve manufacturing and design challenges.
• Gather, analyze, and present testing data to support decisions related to projects.
• Assist in cross-departmental knowledge transfer, root cause analysis, and resolution of quality issues.
• Analyze, interpret, and convey trial results to both technical and leadership audiences.
• Develop protocols, process workflows, training materials, and reporting mechanisms.
• Leverage knowledge of PET, rPET, HDPE, LLDPE, injection molding, and ISBM packaging processes.
• At least 4 years of experience in Packaging or related Engineering or Manufacturing fields.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the specified position.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in managing people or projects.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Packaging, or a related field.
• Fundamental understanding of packaging processes such as injection molding, blow molding, filling, capping, labeling, packing, and palletizing.
• Strong proficiency in beverage filling processes and high-speed consumer product manufacturing.
• Competencies in project management including planning, scheduling, and risk mitigation.
• Demonstrated experience in the commissioning and qualification of packaging and related systems.
• Capability to independently manage complex projects with effective time management and prioritization skills.
• Basic training in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficient in root cause analysis and technical troubleshooting.
• Experience with packaging software tools such as TOPS or CAPE.
• Willingness to travel 75% to 100% as required.
• No foreign language requirement.
