This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Design, develop, and sustain features for the Abercrombie and Hollister iOS applications.
• Engage in the complete app lifecycle, encompassing discovery, design, development, testing, release, and post-launch support.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable Swift code in accordance with team standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
• Work alongside Android and backend teams to guarantee cohesive, cross-platform experiences.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing app performance, reliability, and developer experience.
• Contribute to architectural decisions using established patterns such as MVVM and modular design.
• Stay up-to-date with iOS trends, tools, and emerging technologies.
• Integrate AI-driven features like personalization, recommendations, and conversational experiences.
• Support experimentation with on-device machine learning and agent-based experiences.
• Utilize data and analytics to assess the impact of AI-enabled features.
• Explore methods to enhance customer experience and developer productivity through AI.
• 5-7+ years of professional software development experience, particularly in hands-on iOS development.
• Extensive experience with Swift and Apple iOS frameworks.
• Understanding of architectural patterns such as MVVM or Clean Architecture.
• Proven experience in building scalable, high-quality mobile applications.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and backend service integration.
• Experience with testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Proficient knowledge of Git and CI/CD processes.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts or APIs, such as personalization or search functionalities.
• Experience or interest in incorporating AI capabilities into mobile applications.
• Exposure to experimentation frameworks, analytics tools, or data-driven development methodologies.
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities.
• Effectiveness in working within cross-functional teams.
• A curious mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Ownership mentality with an emphasis on delivering business value.
