Senior Engineer, FullStack, Retail Media/AdTech Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance Node.js/TypeScript-based microservices with a focus on performance, modularity, and scalability.

• Engage in architectural choices that enhance system maintainability and reliability.

• Create and sustain React applications utilizing Next.js Pages Router and Material-UI.

• Execute sophisticated form logic by leveraging Formik and JSONSchema validation.

• Guarantee responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces.

• Integrate and optimize MongoDB, Redis, and Algolia for real-time ad delivery and insights.

• Utilize BullMQ and RabbitMQ for distributed message queuing and background processing.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Analytics teams to deliver comprehensive Retail Media features.

• Take part in sprint planning, technical reviews, and solution discovery.

• Conceptualize and construct high-performance, scalable Retail Media AdTech solutions spanning backend services and customer-facing interfaces.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient hands-on expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, and contemporary web technologies.

• Extensive experience in developing scalable microservices and frontend applications within cloud-native frameworks.

• Familiarity with AdTech or Retail Media platforms such as Kevel, Google Ad Manager, CitrusAd, or TopSort is advantageous.

• Dedication to producing clean, maintainable, and efficient code, emphasizing scalability, testing, and long-term system health.

• Comfortable operating in Agile/Scrum teams and contributing to cross-functional initiatives.

• A continuous learner who flourishes in fast-paced environments.

• Experience with AI, including the integration of AI into real systems and deployment of AI-powered features.

• Proficient in React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Koa.js, NestJS, MongoDB, Redis, BullMQ, RabbitMQ, Algolia, Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), Google Cloud Platform, CircleCI, ArgoCD, and modern ad-serving platform integrations.
