This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and potential execution risks.
• Enhance revenue by managing billing milestones and advancing projects toward invoicing.
• Track backlog, project forecasts, and identify scheduling conflicts.
• Assist with business planning, operational metrics, and reporting activities.
• Act as the operational point of contact for North American clients.
• Facilitate project kickoff meetings and execution reviews.
• Manage client expectations regarding schedules, deliverables, and commercial milestones.
• Spot opportunities to strengthen customer relationships.
• Collaborate with Sales to transition opportunities into project execution.
• Create technical and commercial proposals alongside Sales and Com Operations.
• Define the project scope, timelines, staffing plans, and effort estimates.
• Work with engineering teams on cost estimates.
• Assist with strategic pursuits and key customer opportunities.
• Carry out consulting projects as an individual contributor.
• Conduct or support power system studies, generator testing, dynamic model validation, grid code compliance evaluations, and technical report writing.
• Maintain technical expertise to assist customers and mentor junior engineers.
• Enhance execution processes and business efficiency.
• Ensure projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Optimize resource utilization across the North American team.
• Provide precise, competitive proposals with a high success rate.
• Uphold customer satisfaction and credibility with engineers through technical contributions.
• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Over 5 years of experience in power systems, power generation, or utility consulting.
• Proven experience in managing complex technical projects.
• Excellent customer-facing communication skills.
• Experience in developing technical proposals and project estimates.
• Proficient knowledge of power system analysis.
• Familiarity with turbine, generator, and power plant operations and performance.
• Willingness and ability to travel 40% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable.
• A Master's degree is preferred.
