Senior Engagement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic resource for the OneStream client portfolio.

• Present solution alternatives and strategies for the efficient and effective delivery of OneStream solutions.

• Oversee strategic implementation projects tailored to client size, industry, billable revenue, complexity, and global footprint.

• Collaborate with Sales, Services, and Support teams to manage expectations and ensure client retention and referenceability.

• Identify further opportunities for OneStream within client organizations.

• Manage engagement economics and liaise with other OneStream service lines across various accounts.

• Provide comprehensive project management from initiation through planning, execution, control, and closure.

• Develop and sustain project plans and schedules that encompass scope, quality, time, and budget considerations.

• Communicate progress, challenges, and risks to clients and internal stakeholders effectively.

• Manage and document any scope changes that impact project budgets and timelines.

• Apply OneStream's engagement methodology and act as the primary contact for partner-led projects.

• Maintain partnerships with third-party vendors and partners.

• Cultivate relationships with practice directors, regional sales directors, and clients to enhance consulting service and software license sales.

• Support local sales pipeline initiatives, including CPM seminars and webinars.

• Assist in implementation workstreams, oversee project budgets, review deliverables for quality, and enhance project management tools.

• Support onboarding and engagement efforts, assess staffing needs, maintain project staffing levels, participate in recruitment, and mentor new team members.

• Act as a subject matter expert for Waterline, PRIME, and other methodologies.

• Perform additional duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Technology, Mathematics, CIS, or a related field.

• 12–15 years of relevant work experience, including the implementation of complex software solutions.

• Over 8 years of project management experience or equivalent technology project lead experience.

• Proven experience with Microsoft Project or similar project management software.

• Exceptional critical thinking and analytical abilities.

• Strong skills in planning, organization, and time management.

• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to convey complex topics in an easily understandable manner.

• Proven capability to coach and mentor junior team members.

• Ability to discuss prior engagements with prospects and facilitate or take part in reference calls.

• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

• Competence in working independently as well as in collaborative settings.

• Adaptability and openness to change in dynamic situations.

• Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship.

• Willingness to travel regularly, approximately 80%–100% of the time.
