This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.
• Assist in the development of HESG projects across North America
• Involve yourself in public-sector as well as commercial and industrial initiatives
• Offer engineering support to the sales team
• Guide customers towards Honeywell solutions
• Provide consultations both externally and internally
• Aid in the creation and upkeep of product messaging, customer support, and training
• Promote alignment across functions to meet customer needs
• Take part in strategy planning and negotiations with customers
• Conduct investment-grade facility audits
• Create technical solutions focused on customers that satisfy technical, social, and financial criteria
• Carry out financial analyses to validate solution feasibility
• Oversee the scope, schedule, and cost of development
• Design solutions involving HVAC, electrification, heat pumps, geothermal systems, combined heat and power, and central utility plants
• Produce financial analyses and work scopes
• Complete contracts in accordance with Honeywell standards
• Collaborate with Measurement and Verification, Delivery, and Contracts teams
• Assist in post-contract engineering, creation of design documents, and project commissioning
• Develop precise savings calculations and detailed scopes of work
• Analyze data and propose solutions for intricate problems
• Generate, assess, and select innovative solutions
• Deliver technical sales presentations and engage in activities with customers
• Assess growth opportunities and mentor teams on project value propositions
• Review proposals, coordinate engineering support for projects, and supply data for sales-support documentation
• Minimum of 5 years in the Energy Solutions sector
• At least 5 years of practical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Possession of a Professional Engineering license
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience in project development for projects ranging from $1M to $20M+
• Proficiency in technical writing and proposal preparation
• Familiarity with Microsoft Visio for creating detailed schematics
• Experience with Microsoft Project for managing complex projects
• Skills in Microsoft PowerPoint for crafting customer and internal presentations
• Understanding of building control systems
• Awareness of industry regulatory standards and upcoming mandates
• Knowledge of energy and carbon reduction project grants and incentive programs
• Insight into Honeywell and competitor platforms, products, and technologies
• Experience in developing and implementing Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Capability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Ability to deliver results through influence within a matrixed team environment
• Certification as an Energy Manager (CEM) is advantageous
• Professional certifications like CEM and LEED-AP are valued
