This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland, +2 more countries.
• Lead and provide guidance on intricate employee relations issues, encompassing investigations, performance management/PIPs, grievances, disciplinary actions, probation evaluations, and involuntary separations.
• Ensure that employee issues are addressed through equitable, consistent, and inclusive methodologies.
• Offer practical, risk-aware counsel to managers while prioritizing a positive employee experience.
• Maintain meticulous case documentation, records, and reporting throughout the resolution process.
• Oversee Guidewire’s interactions with employee representative entities in France.
• Facilitate engagement with CSEs, Works Councils, unions, and other employee representative organizations.
• Recognize employee and labor relations risks arising from organizational changes, business decisions, and employee issues.
• Formulate strategies to mitigate risks and assist leaders during high-stakes scenarios.
• Stay informed on employment legislation across EMEA and translate requirements into actionable steps.
• Review and update ER policies, procedures, and guidance.
• Create learning and management interventions that promote consistent policy implementation.
• Analyze ER metrics and trends to pinpoint opportunities, risks, and areas for intervention.
• Develop dashboards, tools, processes, and governance forums to enhance ER effectiveness, consistency, and compliance.
• Define and deliver scalable ER products, toolkits, and programs for global application.
• Assist with compensation adjustments, multi-market reorganizations, and organizational transformations.
• Contribute to or lead the implementation of ER technology and systems.
• Proficient French speaker.
• Extensive experience in Employee Relations within a multinational, technology-focused, or complex organizational setting.
• Fluency in AI.
• Demonstrated experience managing sensitive employment processes, including investigations, PIPs, grievances, disciplinary actions, probation evaluations, and involuntary separations.
• Strong understanding of employment practices in the UK, Ireland, and France, with the capability to operate across various EMEA jurisdictions.
• Excellent judgment, communication, and influencing abilities, with the confidence to advise at all levels.
• Highly organized and analytical, adept at managing multiple complex cases and competing priorities.
• Unwavering confidentiality, integrity, accuracy, and discretion.
• Ability to convert employment legislation and risks into clear, actionable advice for managers and leaders.
