Senior Embedded Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, development, testing, debugging, and maintenance of software integrated into embedded devices and systems.

• Direct the review, analysis, and translation of customer requirements into embedded software product designs.

• Evaluate embedded systems software code tailored for specialized hardware.

• Manage the integration of embedded software with hardware components.

• Supervise the analysis, monitoring, and enhancement of embedded software efficiency and stability.

• Oversee testing and debugging processes for embedded device and system software.

• Research and lead the implementation of emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulatory updates.

• Provide guidance on software and hardware integration domains.

• Lead the tracking and assessment of both internal and supplier software team performance.

• Manage embedded software project management functions.

• Support the Boeing Technology and Innovation Software Engineering organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.

• Current US Secret Clearance or the capability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.

• U.S. Person status required for compliance with U.S. export control regulations.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded software development.

• At least 1 year of experience in leading software development projects.

• Capability to complete a technical assessment as part of the selection process.

• Must fulfill U.S. export control compliance requirements.
