Senior Elixir Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Develop clear and maintainable code accompanied by automated testing.

• Perform comprehensive code reviews to guarantee quality and compliance with team standards.

• Work collaboratively with product and design teams to fulfill customer needs.

• Decompose larger projects into manageable tasks for both yourself and your team.

• Enhance application performance and resolve issues effectively.

• Identify and rectify bugs in services.

• Assist in the development, upkeep, and improvement of applications.

• Create and advance a service-oriented, event-driven ecosystem of applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Strong command of Elixir and functional programming principles.

• Background in building web applications using Phoenix or similar frameworks.

• Interest in or experience with CQRS and event-driven systems.

• Familiarity with database management systems, especially PostgreSQL.

• Understanding of web application security best practices.

• Proficient with Git and handling pull requests.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities and debugging expertise.

• Excellent skills in communication and collaboration.

• Experience integrating legacy systems with contemporary platforms.

• Knowledge of LiveView is advantageous.

• A portfolio or examples of prior Elixir LiveView projects is preferred.
