Senior EDI Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Enable and oversee EDI operations for various locations.

• Manage EDI trading partner setup requests and assess requirements.

• Develop envelopes, connections, maps, and other components to support automatic data translation and transmission to and from RealTruck ERP systems.

• Diagnose and maintain existing setups and trading partner relationships.

• Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement maps, business processes, and interfaces for intercompany and customer-facing EDI.

• Oversee and maintain the B2B Integrator application, including patches and upgrades, within a Windows Server environment.

• Set up, configure, and sustain the EDI Dashboard.

• Collaborate with internal teams, customers, suppliers, business analysts, and trading partners to establish EDI connections.

• Assist in onboarding new partners, including gathering specifications and addressing unique requirements.

• Prioritize the EDI project queue alongside the IT Director.

• Monitor and manage the processing of EDI documents, such as purchase orders, invoices, and shipping notifications.

• Resolve technical issues that arise during document exchanges.

• Identify and rectify technical problems, errors, and discrepancies associated with EDI transactions.

• Provide training and support to both internal teams and external partners.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

• Maintain documentation for EDI processes, configurations, and communication protocols.

• Facilitate communication between departments and external partners.

• Generate reports and analytics on EDI transactions and provide insights to management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or MIS, or equivalent experience, is required.

• At least 5 years of experience working as an EDI analyst.

• Experience in creating mapping documents.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with ERP systems.

• At least 2 years of experience working with X12 documents.

• Over 3 years of experience in EDI Development.

• Experience in the automotive industry is highly advantageous.

• SQL or scripting experience is beneficial.

• Familiarity with STEDI and B2B is preferred.

• Knowledge of XML files and standard EDI documents.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

• Capability to create and implement project plans.

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, planning, problem-solving, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Ability to analyze EDI and ERP data-related issues.

• No specific licenses are required.

• Minimal travel may be necessary; 10% or less.

• Ability to work in a professional office setting and utilize standard office equipment.

• Capacity to perform sedentary work and repetitive hand and wrist movements.
