Senior Drafting Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Create drafts utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D or Carlson Survey.

• Assist field crews in the preparation of stakeout calculations.

• Generate commercial surveys through CADD.

• Collaborate with licensed surveyors to prepare staking calculations, boundary and topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, and legal descriptions.

• Coordinate daily tasks to align with various project scopes and critical deadlines.

• Regularly engage with research teams, field personnel, project managers, and the surveying department.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong proficiency in mathematics and measurements.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficient in MS Software applications.

• Capable of conducting analytical reviews.

• Strong skills in project planning.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Carlson Survey.

• Experience in survey drafting.

• High School Diploma or its equivalent is required.

• Ability to interpret and organize field notes effectively.

• Eagerness to learn and embrace new responsibilities as experience is acquired.

• Generally requires an AA Degree in a CAD or related engineering field.

• Ideally, 4 years of relevant experience.

• Experience in land surveying, whether in the field or office, is advantageous.
