Senior Domain Engineering Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Interact with customers regarding security-oriented products, architectures, and risk-related topics across the Veeam Data Platform.

• Conduct readiness assessments and oversee data modeling to confirm solution designs and expedite decision-making.

• Assess attack surfaces and vulnerabilities, including DRMM scoring; monitor telemetry and recurring inspection signals, report trends, and document potential health assessments.

• Confirm designs to mitigate risks associated with adoption and enhance time to value.

• Identify and communicate opportunities for expansion; analyze consumption trends and organize checkpoint reviews.

• Collaborate with CISO/CIO stakeholders on discussions related to risk, status, and opportunities; consolidate insights from account health and CSE-led QBRs.

• Assist Account Executives in security- and AI-driven expansion initiatives; shape roadmap priorities alongside Customer Success Engineer counterparts.

• Function as a shared resource for Enterprise and Commercial-Named accounts, typically exceeding $100K ARR, with an average coverage ratio of 1 Security Success Engineer to 6–8 CSEs.

• Not primarily responsible for onboarding processes or direct renewal responsibilities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in engineering architecture for cybersecurity-related products (e.g., Security Engineer/Architect, Cloud Solution Architect, MLOps/ML Engineer).

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical discipline; an advanced degree is advantageous.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent).

• Proficiency in data security and governance, including DSPM/DLP; familiarity with AI/ML architectures.

• Proven ability to engage CISO/CIO stakeholders on topics of risk, resilience, and modernization roadmaps.

• Practical experience in solution design, POCs, telemetry monitoring, and maturity modeling.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.

• VMCE certification can be obtained after joining.
