Senior District Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead initiatives for the Pacific Northwest District, encompassing Colorado, Nevada, Utah, Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.

• Directly report to the Regional Business Director.

• Mentor, develop, and motivate Rare Disease Account Executives to meet Immunology Autoantibody product sales goals and quotas.

• Establish a district vision and foster a culture of high performance within the team.

• Formulate and execute business strategies, including local ecosystem strategic plans and account-level approaches.

• Oversee operations within designated budgets and ensure alignment of plans with the overarching strategy.

• Engage with and coordinate activities among field partners.

• Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Strategic Customer Group, Commercial Excellence, and external stakeholders.

• Connect with key influencers, such as KOLs and C-suite executives, to promote product offerings.

• Assist sales teams in prioritizing opportunities and enhancing performance.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• At least five (5) years of proven success in pharmaceutical or biotech sales, particularly in selling or managing sales teams for FDA-approved products to licensed healthcare professionals.

• A valid Driver’s License in one of the 50 United States.

• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.

• Residency within the assigned territory or readiness to relocate.

• Demonstrated management and supervisory experience in coaching and motivating a team (preferred).

• Completion of a J&J Management Development Program or equivalent management experience (preferred).

• Previous experience in rare diseases, especially in neurology and hematology (preferred).

• Commitment to understanding emerging technologies such as AI (preferred).

• Experience in enhancing team AI literacy and confidence, while promoting responsible and trustworthy AI usage (preferred).
