This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Oversee strategy and execution within all levels of the Workplace Planning & Advice teams by managing multiple Senior Managers.
• Propel enterprise metrics such as asset retention, managed account adoption, Wealth referrals, and participant engagement.
• Take charge of the lifecycle development strategy from onboarding to advanced planning and high-net-worth (HNW) transitions.
• Establish uniform KPIs, advice quality standards, and coaching frameworks across all managerial teams.
• Serve as the principal leader for Empower’s workplace advice model, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and supervisory oversight.
• Formulate campaign strategies, performance management methods, and technology integration plans in collaboration with Product, WPA Experience, Marketing, and Wealth teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to minimize leakage, enhance participant outcomes, and support Empower's strategic growth objectives.
• Represent Workplace Planning & Advice in enterprise planning, client discussions, and leadership forums.
• Foster cultural cohesion, diversity, and the development of the manager pipeline across the organization.
• Ensure consistent auditing practices, licensing standards, and regulatory supervision at all leadership levels.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• FINRA Series 7, 24, and 66 certifications are required.
• FINRA fingerprinting is necessary.
• At least 7 years of experience in retirement services, advice leadership, or participant strategy is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in leading multi-team, multi-function environments with direct accountability for people, performance, and revenue.
• Demonstrated experience in campaign management, advice platform integration, or the development of advisory services.
• Strong analytical, executive communication, and people leadership abilities.
• Possess a business owner mindset: accountable for financial outcomes, strategic delivery, and cross-functional execution.

• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available, including CPT/OPT.
• An MBA or Master’s degree is preferred.
• CRPC/CFP certifications are desirable.
• Proven success in developing leadership pipelines, succession strategies, and high-performing teams within a large, complex financial services organization.
• Leadership experience in workplace retirement, wealth management, financial planning, or participant advisory services.
• Experience in leading a large, multi-level organization through people managers.
• Experience in scaling or transforming financial advice delivery through technology, process optimization, or innovative participant engagement strategies.
