Area Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Oversee, mentor, and provide guidance to a network of 9 early learning centres.

• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and financially viable services.

• Enhance performance metrics related to occupancy, workforce, budgets, and key business indicators.

• Implement compliance, governance, and child safety protocols.

• Cultivate a high-performing team of Centre Directors through coaching and performance management.

• Collaborate with People & Culture and central support teams to enhance capability and foster a positive culture.

• Establish relationships within the community and with stakeholders to facilitate growth and increase enrolments.

• Recognize and pursue opportunities for continuous improvement throughout the portfolio.

• Travel across the region to manage the centre portfolio.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in multi-site leadership, preferably in early learning or another regulated sector.

• Strong financial skills relating to budgets, forecasting, occupancy, and overall performance.

• Proven track record in coaching, developing, and managing leaders.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.

• Composed, confident, and solution-oriented leadership approach.

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood, Education, Business, or a related field.

• Valid NSW Working with Children Check.

• Current driver's licence.

• Successful completion of thorough pre-employment checks, including WWCC, ID verification, qualifications, Gecko Training, work rights, NQAITS register/prohibited persons, and references.

• Training in child safety is required.
