Senior Director – Program Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and guide both business and IT teams through transformation and optimization projects.

• Assist in the formation of strategies utilizing the Services value stream framework.

• Oversee the Services Outage Execution portfolio for Gas Power Global Services.

• Direct a team and take ownership of the Services Outage Execution process as well as the related application portfolio.

• Supervise the performance, maintenance, and optimization of applications that support outage workflows.

• Assess processes, identify gaps, and enhance IT solutions to fulfill business needs.

• Spearhead proactive provisioning and lifecycle management of IT equipment, hardware, and PCs for a mobile, customer-facing workforce.

• Design and implement onsite connectivity solutions tailored for field teams.

• Establish and enforce deployment protocols to ensure field employees are prepared for site readiness.

• Identify, create business cases for, and execute technology programs aimed at enhancing field productivity.

• Drive initiatives to enhance data accessibility and visibility through the use of AI.

• Convert business challenges into technical solutions and manage their delivery from concept to field implementation.

• Align IT initiatives with outage milestones and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Collaborate with operations and field service leaders to provide technology that supports successful site execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related fields.

• At least 10 years of pertinent experience.

• Demonstrated history of setting targets, executing plans, and achieving results.

• Experience in leveraging technology to address business challenges.

• Capability to plan and provide structure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Skill in managing risk and uncertainty for both self and team.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to dissect problems and make decisions when challenges or solutions are not fully defined.

• Competence in assessing products and processes for compliance.

• Ability to gauge the impact of trends and take appropriate action.

• Proficiency in interacting at all organizational levels, including with GE businesses and partners.

• Experience in leading and influencing within a complex, global matrix organization.

• Ability to identify and eliminate project obstacles or barriers.

• Critical thinking, analytical skills, and a disciplined approach to resolving issues and defining solutions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to confidently interface with senior leadership.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
