Senior Director, Product Management, Agentic Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop a long-term strategy for the Agentic Platform and translate it into a roadmap that balances reliability, product team velocity, and innovative initiatives.

• Take ownership of essential platform components, including multi-agent orchestration, planning and execution runtimes, memory and context management, tool and MCP infrastructure, guardrails, and observability.

• Spearhead the product aspect of custom model training and fine-tuning utilizing ZoomInfo's proprietary data.

• Create the decision-making model layer that empowers agents to select the appropriate actions.

• Conduct a structured research and development program for orchestration and transition promising findings into production.

• Discover and implement new platform functionalities that enhance product surfaces and drive revenue growth.

• Collaborate with engineering to ensure agent infrastructure is production-ready, considering scale, latency, task cost, security, and compliance.

• Recruit and develop a team of senior and principal product managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in building technical products, with at least 3 years in leadership roles managing PM teams or running a company.

• Extensive hands-on experience with production agentic systems — agents that can plan, utilize tools, and perform real actions, rather than just engage in chat interfaces.

• Proven experience in guiding an AI or agentic product from inception to launch (0→1), either as a founder or the product leader responsible for its entire lifecycle.

• Proficiency in the modern agentic stack, including orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, or custom solutions), MCP and tool-calling patterns, RAG and memory architectures, as well as evaluations and observability.

• Sufficient technical acumen to review architecture documentation, analyze agent traces, and prototype in code independently.

• Preferred: Familiarity with model development processes, such as fine-tuning, post-training, evaluation design, and the economics of custom versus frontier models.

• Preferred: Experience in creating platform products where engineering and product teams are the primary clients.

• Preferred: Experience in deploying decision-making, ranking, or recommendation models into production.

• Preferred: Background in B2B, go-to-market, or data platform sectors.
