Senior Director, Procurement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee company-wide sourcing initiatives, vendor management, and spend optimization activities.

• Create and expand a centralized procurement function that supports rapid growth, transparency, cost efficiency, and compliance.

• Formulate and standardize centralized procurement policies and procedures.

• Deploy and enhance a procurement software tool that aligns with business requirements and leadership reporting needs.

• Lead the annual budget planning process in collaboration with FP&A and align procurement strategies with financial objectives.

• Develop a framework with department leaders to ensure visibility and control over department-specific expenditures, vendor relationships, and budgeting.

• Work alongside Compliance and Legal teams to guarantee that procurement activities, vendor contracts, and policies adhere to regulatory and legal standards.

• Collaborate with Legal to assess and negotiate vendor contracts, including risk mitigation clauses and service level agreements.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is a plus.

• Over 10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, including leadership roles in rapidly growing and/or multi-location settings.

• Demonstrable success in designing and scaling centralized procurement operations and policies within high-growth startup/scale-up environments and publicly traded organizations.

• Strong understanding of procurement software and spend management systems; experience with implementation is an advantage.

• Background in healthcare, pharmacy, and/or digital health sectors.

• Proven track record of driving cost reductions, process enhancements, and supplier performance management.

• Proficient in vendor negotiations, contract evaluations, and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.

• A strategic, hands-on, and execution-focused mindset.
