Associate Principal, Procurement Innovation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the supplier onboarding process, encompassing tools, orchestration, and support for cross-functional onboarding operations.

• Offer expertise and enhance supplier programs, including supplier risk management and critical supplier initiatives in collaboration with the Sourcing team.

• Create recommendations for process improvements based on procurement methodologies.

• Improve supplier experience through transformational initiatives that align with stakeholder requirements while minimizing risk.

• Supervise and uphold supplier onboarding programs.

• Track supplier compliance, operational health, advancements, challenges, risks, and benefits.

• Work collaboratively with teams on supplier risk management needs and system and operational enhancements.

• Direct project execution and tool implementation.

• Provide subject matter expertise in source-to-pay processes, supplier risk management, regulatory assessment, procurement technology, and procurement transformation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business, finance, supply chain, or a related field.

• Over 8 years of experience in managing procurement programs and/or leading preferred supplier initiatives.

• Proficient in managing supplier onboarding and risk management tools and processes.

• Experience in implementing enterprise-wide systems.

• Familiarity with utilizing data, automation, or AI tools to aid in decision-making.

• Strong relationship-building skills in a cross-functional environment and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Highly analytical with excellent problem-solving capabilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.

• Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented.

• Capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.

• Must reside in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity.
