This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
β’ Take ownership and develop Crux's partnership program encompassing channel/referral, product-enabled, and research & IP initiatives.
β’ Create tiered partner frameworks that include activation criteria, enablement programs, co-selling strategies, and performance metrics.
β’ Implement partner management processes within HubSpot and other internal systems.
β’ Monitor referrals, attribution, partner health, and return on investment (ROI).
β’ Design and execute a sustainable partner acquisition program.
β’ Identify, qualify, activate, onboard, and expand relationships with target partner personas.
β’ Maintain a comprehensive view of partnerships and assess when to enhance, restructure, or terminate relationships.
β’ Cultivate and strengthen relationships with Big 4 firms, AmLaw law firms, insurance brokers, and trade associations.
β’ Create partner enablement materials, co-branded marketing campaigns, and joint go-to-market strategies.
β’ Negotiate and manage referral agreements, revenue-sharing arrangements, co-marketing commitments, and alliance structures.
β’ Encourage partner adoption of the Crux platform for deal diligence, document finalization, and transaction workflows.
β’ Collaborate with product and research teams on product- and intelligence-enabled partnership strategies.
β’ Monitor and enhance platform adoption metrics by partner.
β’ Direct the strategic approach for the market intelligence briefing series and thought leadership initiatives.
β’ Design and scale partner briefings, co-hosted receptions, conference engagements, and regional roadshows.
β’ Promote partner engagement at key conferences.
β’ Liaise with research, content, events, commercial, and RevOps teams.
β’ Coordinate with subject matter experts from Legal, Policy, Commercial, and Research departments.
β’ Ensure that partner feedback influences product and commercial strategies.
β’ Lead a team of four direct reports and recruit additional staff as the program expands.
β’ Establish career development paths and foster a culture of operational excellence, commercial accountability, and innovative partner engagement.
β’ Over 10 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or alliance management.
β’ Minimum of 4 years in leadership roles focused on scaling a partnership team.
β’ Proven experience in developing a partnership program into a structured, tiered operation.
β’ Demonstrated success in owning a revenue target linked to partner-sourced pipeline.
β’ Experience in building attribution models and managing referral agreements, revenue sharing, and joint go-to-market initiatives.
β’ Extensive experience handling enterprise relationships with Big 4 firms, AmLaw firms, and large financial institutions.
β’ Knowledge of internal business development dynamics, compliance challenges, and referral behaviors.
β’ Strong cross-functional leadership skills across research, content, events, product, and commercial teams.
β’ Experience in executing content-driven, events-based, or thought-leadership-focused partner engagement programs.
β’ Preferred: Background in financial services, structured finance, tax, or capital markets.
β’ Preferred: Experience with product-enabled partnerships.
β’ Preferred: Knowledge of clean energy finance or the ability to quickly learn complex technical subjects.
β’ Preferred: Familiarity with energy-transition partner personas, including commodity brokers/traders, financial intermediaries, cost segregation and appraisal providers, and independent engineering firms.
