This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as an integral member of the Leadership Team, participating in the development of organizational strategies, annual planning, budgeting, and decision-making processes.
• Oversee annual planning and quarterly priorities, track the execution of the Strategic Plan, and create organizational dashboards and performance metrics.
• Direct the annual Care for Our Business Month initiative, along with managing policy updates, recognitions, and recertifications.
• Create and sustain a thorough organizational training plan for home office personnel and fiscally sponsored partners.
• Organize training sessions for Care for Our Business Month, NetSuite, Salesforce, compliance, financial management, and other key priorities.
• Assist in the annual end-of-year operational planning and coordination among various departments.
• Maintain and enhance the Operations Manual and associated organizational procedures.
• Oversee the People + Culture Operations Manager.
• Provide strategic guidance on employee lifecycle processes, performance management, professional development, HR policies, handbooks, and labor-management practices.
• Offer strategic oversight for technology operations, including IT staff, consultants, managed service providers, technology vendors, and enterprise software.
• Set technology priorities and supervise their implementation with both internal and external partners.
• Manage organizational insurance programs, administrative vendors, and essential operational contracts.
• Identify opportunities for improvement through technology, automation, artificial intelligence, and business process enhancements.
• Supervise the Special Projects Manager and lead Executive Office operations and cross-functional initiatives.
• Assist Leadership Team and Board operations, which includes meetings, planning, retreats, and coordination.
• Enhance cross-departmental coordination and eliminate barriers to strategic execution.
• Spearhead the implementation of the internal and external communications strategy.
• Oversee communications consultants and manage newsletters, reports, presentations, website content, marketing materials, and other communications.
• Ensure that communications align with organizational priorities, voice, and brand standards.
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Seven or more years of progressively responsible operational leadership experience.
• Proven track record in supervising staff and leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience in managing consultants, vendors, and organizational operations.
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and progressive social change.
• Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as Google Workspace, Salesforce, NetSuite, HRIS, and project management systems.
• Capability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
• Willingness and ability to attend meetings and events outside of regular business hours as necessary.
• Periodic travel is required.
