This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a strategic advisor to the executive team regarding company planning, investment choices, organizational priorities, and growth strategies.
• Serve as a financial business partner to departmental leaders.
• Convert financial and operational data into actionable insights.
• Collaborate with the Head of People & Organizational Effectiveness on workforce and organizational planning.
• Develop business cases, model scenarios, evaluate ROI and risks, and articulate trade-offs.
• Manage annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, long-term planning, and monthly performance reporting.
• Create financial models and business cases for investments, offerings, organizational changes, headcount planning, and growth strategies.
• Ensure performance accountability against EBITDA, partner incentives, recurring revenue, and other key strategic metrics.
• Identify emerging financial and commercial risks and opportunities.
• Connect financial planning to the overall strategic plan.
• Collaborate with the CEO on board and investor reporting.
• Lead, mentor, and collaborate with the Controller and the broader Finance team.
• Establish operating rhythms, controls, reporting standards, and accountability within the Finance department.
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting while enhancing Finance operations.
• Oversee financial aspects of the order-to-revenue lifecycle, including deal booking, billing readiness, provisioning coordination, and cross-functional transitions.
• Enhance Finance systems, processes, and automation.
• Manage strategic revenue and commercial analytics encompassing pipeline health, bookings, revenue performance, renewals, retention, and churn.
• Evaluate customer and product segmentation, retention and churn trends, expansion opportunities, and service-line economics.
• Assist in pricing, packaging, and investment decisions through financial modeling.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership on forecasting and pipeline analytics.
• 7–12+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or finance leadership roles.
• Experience preferably in a PE-backed, high-growth, or professional services setting.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Capability to independently create and assess multi-year forecasts, investment and ROI models, pricing scenarios, and complex business cases.
• Strategic and commercial mindset that extends beyond the finance function.
• Ability to translate financial performance, operational dynamics, and market opportunities into growth recommendations.
• Exceptional communication skills suitable for executive settings.
• Aptitude for distilling complex financial information into clear insights and recommendations for senior leadership, investors, and board members.
• Proven leadership ability with experience in developing high-performing teams.
• Skill in setting clear expectations and fostering accountability while empowering team members.
• Sound judgment, humility, and self-awareness.
• Strong sense of ownership and a proactive approach.
• Comfortable navigating a growing organization where priorities may shift.
• Experience in professional services, SaaS, construction technology, or channel/partner-based business models is a plus.
• Familiarity with private equity-backed environments and knowledge of investor reporting, value-creation initiatives, and private-equity ownership is a plus.
• Knowledge of Sage Intacct or similar cloud-based financial management systems is a plus.
• Exposure to AI, automation, or technology-driven business transformation is a plus.
• Experience in supporting M&A, due diligence, integration, or strategic acquisitions is a plus.
• A background in quantitative analysis and business strategy through finance, economics, engineering, or another analytically rigorous discipline is a plus.
