
Senior Director – Microsoft Digital Workspace

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +6 more states.
• Direct the success, expansion, and strategic vision of SHI's Digital Workplace division within Microsoft Services.
• Integrate Collaboration, Workplace Platform, and Change Management into a unified operational framework.
• Oversee service maturity, solution creation, workforce planning, utilization, quality of delivery, capacity, pipeline assistance, and quantifiable client results.
• Supervise managers and practice leaders, ensuring accountability for their effectiveness, growth, and delivery outcomes.
• Transform Microsoft's Work IQ, Microsoft 365, Copilot, identity, endpoint, and employee experience investments into SHI's services roadmap and capability strategy.
• Define ownership, decision-making rights, handoffs, delivery standards, and quality expectations.
• Develop modular, repeatable solutions that link workplace technology, secure access, employee engagement, and value realization.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate leaders across Collaboration, Workplace Platform, and Change Management.
• Manage workforce planning, including recruitment, onboarding, retention, skills development, and capacity alignment.
• Guide the integration of Microsoft Entra, Conditional Access, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, and Defender for Office 365 into workplace solutions.
• Champion reusable reference architectures, delivery frameworks, statements of work, migration patterns, adoption techniques, templates, and accelerators.
• Provide executive oversight for intricate, multi-workstream projects that encompass collaboration, migrations, identity, endpoints, security, adoption, and change management.
• Ensure leaders are accountable for scope, staffing, delivery methods, risk management, timelines, budgets, client communication, and adoption results.
• Act as executive sponsor and trusted advisor for strategic clients.
• Increase revenue from Digital Workplace services by enhancing solution relevance, supporting strategic initiatives, broadening enterprise connections, and creating repeatable offerings.
• Collaborate with Solution Architecture, Sales, Project Management, AI + Infrastructure, and Managed Services.
• Build relationships with Microsoft field, engineering, and partner teams to align priorities and enhance market credibility.
• Convey practice priorities, portfolio status, performance metrics, risks, and investment requirements to senior leadership, including the Vice President of Microsoft Services.
• Maintain an operational rhythm covering pipeline, staffing, project status, financial performance, capability development, customer experience, and adoption results.
• Proactively escalate issues related to delivery, capacity, security, adoption, and client risks.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, organizational development, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in technology services, consulting, digital workplace, organizational change, or related Microsoft disciplines.
• Minimum of 5 years leading managers, directors, senior technical leaders, or multi-discipline delivery organizations, with accountability for people, delivery, and business performance.
• Proven success in building or scaling professional services capabilities, repeatable solutions, and complex enterprise delivery processes.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Power Platform, Copilot, Entra, Intune, Windows 365, endpoint security, tenant migrations, and adoption and change management.
• Experience managing utilization, capacity, staffing, delivery quality, portfolio health, adoption results, and financial performance.
• Ability to engage with enterprise executives, translate business priorities into workplace technology and change strategies, and guide complex decision-making.
• Proven track record of collaborating across sales, presales, project management, managed services, technology teams, and business stakeholders to enhance customer relationships.
• Relevant certifications may include Microsoft 365, Teams, Endpoint Administrator, Identity and Access Administrator, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Prosci, CCMP, or equivalent workplace and change management credentials.
• Capacity to work independently while effectively collaborating with executives, managers, technical leaders, sales teams, and client stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
