This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +3 more states.
• Oversee the delivery of analytic services by aligning strategic goals with tools, capabilities, and the deployment of analytic teams.
• Provide leadership across various health plans, business partners, and functional areas.
• Facilitate healthcare analytics, financial modeling, savings validation, forecasting, performance monitoring, and executive reporting.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, and business leaders to pinpoint opportunities, assess outcomes, and promote data-driven decision-making.
• Direct analytics projects and strategic initiatives on an enterprise-wide scale.
• Convert business objectives into actionable solutions, performance enhancement opportunities, and value realization strategies.
• Foster development between business and technical partners, translating analytical insights into practical business recommendations and operational strategies.
• Convey strategic intent and visibility to analytic teams.
• Manage expectations and relationships with executive customers.
• Align team objectives and resource allocation with strategic goals and business requirements.
• Act as the primary domain contact and escalation point to ensure a strong customer partnership and satisfaction.
• Lead the execution of analytics strategy, including forecasting, savings validation, KPI development, and measurement of business outcomes.
• Guide leaders within analytic domains to align business needs and co-create analytic solutions.
• Mentor and manage leaders and analysts, ensuring their ongoing development.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, public health, health informatics, healthcare administration, finance, or a related field.
• Over 8 years of experience in healthcare analytics.
• Experience in leading an organization, formulating strategic plans, and operationalizing functional teams to fulfill business requirements or strategic goals.
• Proficiency in SQL or querying languages.
• Experience with table creation and indexing, query optimization, and stored procedures.
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams and interpret complex analytical outputs.
• Proven ability to mentor and train leaders across various focus areas.
• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
• Preferred direct experience in strategic planning, value realization, healthcare cost optimization initiatives, and solution development.
• Experience in financial modeling, forecasting, performance measurement, and healthcare analytics within a healthcare business environment is preferred.
• Preferred knowledge of Python and R.
• Familiarity with data modeling, trend analysis, root-cause analysis, forecasting, savings validation methodologies, and healthcare performance measurement is preferred.
• Experience in leading change management initiatives and supporting strategic business initiatives is preferred.
• Preferred knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI.
