This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee comprehensive project management aimed at scaling, enhancing, and advancing Medical Affairs intelligence capabilities.
• Facilitate requirements collection, prioritization, delivery timelines, and readiness for go-live across various affiliates, disease states, sources, and user groups.
• Convert insights needs from Medical Affairs into platform specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage the intake, prioritization, and rollout of platform enhancements.
• Direct business user testing and validation processes prior to release.
• Take ownership of capability scaling and adoption strategies, encompassing go-live sequencing, training, enablement, office hours, and change management.
• Act as the business-facing Subject Matter Expert (SME) for intelligence capabilities.
• Engage in discussions regarding enhancement roadmaps and support agile platform delivery.
• Deliver training and enablement concerning capability usage and output interpretation.
• Advocate for business perspectives in governance and prioritization meetings.
• Convert user feedback into inputs for product and technical roadmaps.
• Collaborate with FMSO, BI&A, FMSO India, Tech@Lilly, IBU teams, and vendors on global implementations.
• Manage global stakeholder engagement and feedback mechanisms across affiliates.
• Establish performance monitoring for usage, engagement, and quantifiable business impact.
• Document platform scope, roadmap, and reference materials.
• Ensure compliance with responsible AI, data governance, and other standards as the platform scales.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Over 5 years of experience in program or project management, preferably in a technology, data, or analytics-enabled platform environment.
• An advanced degree (MS, MBA, or related field) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with enterprise Medical Affairs data, insights, and technology platforms, including Medical CRM, scientific intelligence, cloud/data platforms, and integrated analytics solutions.
• Strong technical proficiency in data ingestion and pipelines, APIs and system integrations, cloud architecture, data quality and governance, identity/access management, testing and release management, and production support.
• Capability to convert Medical Affairs requirements into actionable technology specifications.
• Skill in translating ambiguous business queries into precise, testable platform requirements and overseeing delivery.
• Experience managing intricate, multi-stakeholder programs across global, matrixed organizations.
• Proven track record of partnering with engineering, data science, or IT delivery teams, including backlog management, sprint planning, and release coordination.
• Proficiency in explaining AI/ML-enabled platform functionalities to non-technical audiences.
• Preference for candidates with experience in medical or clinical insight generation.
• Background in managing enterprise platform rollouts across multiple countries or affiliates, including localization, training, and change management.
• Experience in establishing intake, prioritization, or governance frameworks for platform enhancements or product roadmaps.
• Familiarity with vendor or external delivery-partner management.
• Knowledge of responsible AI, data governance, or data privacy frameworks.
• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to communicate platform functionalities and roadmap decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to drive adoption and change management for new enterprise platforms.
• PMP, PgMP, agile/Scrum certification, or equivalent program management credentials are a plus.
• A robust process and operational mindset.
