Regional Medical Director – Nashville

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Oversee designated elements of medical policies and programs

• Conduct medical reviews

• Engage with provider communities within assigned regions

• Deliver advanced clinical leadership throughout medical management programs

• Combine traditional utilization review with population health, value-based care, and provider performance initiatives

• Utilize medical policy expertise to inform clinical strategy

• Affect quality, Stars-related performance, cost-effectiveness, risk adjustment accuracy, and outcomes at the market level

• Experience in medical leadership and advanced clinical proficiency

• Background in medical policies and programs

• Proficiency in performing medical reviews

• Experience in engaging with provider communities

• Understanding of utilization review

• Familiarity with population health

• Knowledge of value-based care

• Insight into provider performance initiatives

• Capability to influence quality, Stars-related performance, cost-effectiveness, risk adjustment accuracy, and market-level outcomes

• Must reside within the continental United States, excluding California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii

• Successful completion of drug screening may be necessary
