Associate Medical Director II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Create, write, and revise promotional medical education materials for healthcare professionals, patients, and internal pharmaceutical teams.

• Design slide presentations, advisory board documents, interactive PDFs, video scripts, flashcards, brochures, and other pertinent content.

• Organize, attend, and provide reports on advisory and conference programs.

• Offer on-site assistance at advisory sessions, key client meetings, congresses, and other events.

• Comprehend the competitive environment and identify key healthcare providers along with their stakeholder responsibilities.

• Collaborate with senior scientific personnel.

• Participate in internal and external meetings and refresh content as necessary.

• Engage with clients and provide scientific support.

• Assist in new business initiatives.

• Travel as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2-3 years of experience in medical writing, ideally in a healthcare marketing or communications agency, internship, preceptorship, or similar role.

• Proficient in interpreting complex scientific and medical literature.

• Capable of producing clear, concise, and consistent content.

• Experience in creating medical communications materials, such as slide decks, live and virtual advisory boards, agendas, meeting presentations, summaries, speaker bureau materials, training, brochures, and flashcards.

• Ability to work effectively within a team, including collaboration with both internal and external partners.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook).

• Master of Science, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent qualification.
