This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Define and expand MaintainX's AI strategy and organizational structure.
β’ Foster innovation in Agentic AI and Machine Learning for industrial operations.
β’ Create Work Intelligence solutions tailored for frontline operations, scheduling, inventory management, and insightful analytics.
β’ Develop Asset Intelligence capabilities utilizing machine and sensor data, predictive models, prescriptive recommendations, and automated workflows.
β’ Construct GTM Intelligence agents, tools, and internal products to support revenue, service, and operations teams.
β’ Shape the AI strategy focused on predictive, generative, and agentic technologies across MaintainX and potentially Autodesk Operations Solutions.
β’ Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support teams.
β’ Establish a long-term vision for products and platforms, including milestones and key performance indicators (KPIs).
β’ Empower engineers to integrate Agentic AI tools into feature development processes.
β’ Convert AI/ML research into production-ready applications.
β’ Lead scalable Agentic AI platforms, including RAG systems, evaluations, and orchestration frameworks.
β’ Create data ingestion, processing, and inference pipelines for millions of unstructured documents and videos.
β’ Deliver predictive models leveraging tabular, vibration, IoT, and multimodal sensor data.
β’ Ensure that models are explainable, trustworthy, and seamlessly integrated into MaintainX workflows.
β’ Build and expand a high-performing AI organization encompassing platform, machine learning, and product teams.
β’ Recruit and nurture technical leaders while fostering a high-performance culture.
β’ Represent AI initiatives to executives, clients, and industry stakeholders.
β’ Collaborate with Product and Design teams on AI-driven workflows.
β’ Work alongside GTM teams on AI messaging, customer pilot programs, pricing strategies, and case studies.
β’ Over 12 years of experience in applied AI/ML.
β’ More than 7 years of experience leading teams in fast-growing, data-centric technology companies.
β’ Demonstrated success in designing, building, and deploying predictive deep learning models into large-scale production.
β’ Experience with ranking and recommendation systems, anomaly detection, forecasting, or multimodal models.
β’ Proven ability to build AI/ML teams, recruit senior technical leaders, and scale organizations during growth phases.
β’ Deep expertise in one or more areas such as multimodal ML, MLOps, or Agentic AI frameworks.
β’ Capability to operate from architecture design reviews to C-suite strategic planning.
β’ Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across various disciplines and present effectively to executive leadership.
β’ An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to balance long-term vision and short-term execution.
β’ Compensation may include commission, an annual bonus, and equity options.
