
Senior Director, Global Defense Sales – Asia Pacific

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.
• Provide strategic leadership to drive growth in key markets across short, mid, and long-term horizons.
• Establish and oversee forecasting methodologies that align with executive targets and long-term planning.
• Ensure the achievement of annual sales goals and organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with US product managers to identify solutions for potential product gaps.
• Assess, anticipate, and mitigate business risks that could impact revenue and budget goals.
• Represent SIG SAUER at industry events to enhance brand visibility, support marketing efforts, and promote product adoption.
• Work alongside Quality and Technical teams to address product quality issues.
• Act as a senior strategic liaison between the global commercial business and SIG SAUER headquarters in the USA.
• Provide advice and support to the Executive Vice President on high-impact initiatives and the execution of cross-regional strategies.
• Oversee and facilitate the flow of information between headquarters and global teams about timelines, product availability, and business goals.
• Attend trade shows, fairs, and events as necessary.
• Maintain and uphold 5S standards.
• Adhere to required safety and ISO procedures.
• Carry out miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Candidates must currently be authorized to work in the Asia Pacific Region.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field is required.
• 12–15 years of progressively responsible experience in sales or related global defense functions, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of senior-level experience leading impactful sales strategies, market development, and strategic global initiatives in defense or a similarly intricate international setting is preferred.
• Direct experience and a comprehensive understanding of International Defense Industries, NATO, and the MoD are essential.
• An understanding of territory strategy, capability, and future force ambitions based on experience.
• Proficient in communicating with executive management, Operations, Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and MoD agencies at all levels.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; capable of persuading, motivating, and building strategic partnerships within the industry and government.
• Proven success in leading impactful sales strategies and fostering market development.
• Advanced knowledge of sales processes and systems, including sales cycle management, Salesforce.com, performance reporting, forecasting practices, and territory optimization.
• Strong abilities in forecasting, negotiation, and collaboration, with the capability to influence senior-level stakeholders.
• Ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership, including presenting strategic recommendations and business outcomes.
• Familiarity with Excel, Salesforce, and other CRM tools.
• Demonstrated executive presence and the ability to influence, advise, and communicate effectively with C-suite leaders and senior stakeholders.
• Must be based in the US.
• Willingness to travel extensively, exceeding 50% of the time.
• Capability to perform prolonged desk and computer work and repetitive keyboard/mouse tasks.
• Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, twist, and lift/move files.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Required to wear PPE where necessary.
• Must comply with EH&S training requirements and SIG SAUER security mandates.
