This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Lead the planning of the enterprise portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, transparency in prioritization, and adherence to annual planning protocols.
• Create and implement a standardized methodology for Enterprise Scheduling.
• Develop and manage the enterprise scheduling function, which includes integrated master schedules, cross-functional resource planning, forecasting, and scenario-based planning.
• Deliver data-driven insights to executives regarding portfolio health, operational impacts, financial status, risks, capacity, and performance metrics.
• Facilitate enterprise-level decision-making by clarifying project and scheduling dependencies, constraints, and resource alignment challenges.
• Drive operational and process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with business leaders to ensure that projects and schedules are aligned with realistic assumptions, operational readiness, and organizational priorities.
• Identify potential risks and develop strategies for mitigation and contingency planning.
• Ensure consistent documentation, effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and coordination across the organization.
• Oversee departmental finances, budgets, project-related expenses, and transparency in cost-to-value assessments.
• Articulate complex information succinctly to senior stakeholders and executives.
• Manage departmental staff, including hiring, training, assigning work, conducting performance evaluations, administering rewards, handling discipline, and resolving issues.
• Translate functional or divisional strategies into actionable plans.
• Plan, coordinate, and assess complex projects or programs within and between departments.
• Propose and recommend changes to functional policies.
• Maintain a regular schedule of attendance.
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, along with fifteen or more years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Over 10 years of experience in project management.
• At least 6 years of direct experience managing Project Managers.
• Proven experience in developing Enterprise Scheduling, which includes defining project delivery metrics, implementing processes, and following best practices.
• Strong track record in leading transformational initiatives and fostering cultural change.
• In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices, and change management techniques.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) is preferred.
• A Master’s Degree in Business (MBA) is preferred.
