This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a senior strategic relationship leader and a trusted advisor for designated healthcare clients.
• Establish, enhance, and sustain long-term connections with executives, healthcare organizations, payers, providers, government bodies, and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate strategic discussions with clients regarding healthcare operations, financial performance, contracting, reimbursement, and growth opportunities.
• Assess current healthcare contracts and pinpoint areas for financial, operational, or strategic enhancement.
• Lead and assist in intricate contract negotiations and renegotiations.
• Formulate negotiation strategies informed by financial analysis, market trends, organizational goals, and healthcare data.
• Examine reimbursement frameworks, financial outcomes, contract stipulations, and healthcare utilization statistics.
• Utilize knowledge of healthcare carve-out structures, coding, reimbursement methods, and associated contracting concepts.
• Perform financial, market, operational, and industry research.
• Create and maintain Excel-based analyses, financial models, reports, forecasts, and decision-support tools.
• Investigate complex datasets to discover trends, risks, opportunities, and areas needing improvement.
• Interpret intricate financial and healthcare data into actionable insights.
• Design executive-level presentations and convey findings to key stakeholders.
• Spot opportunities to enhance client financial performance, contracting strategies, operational efficiency, and business results.
• Analyze market trends, payer behaviors, reimbursement modifications, and developments in the healthcare industry.
• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to craft tailored healthcare solutions.
• Oversee multiple high-level client initiatives, negotiations, analyses, and deliverables concurrently.
• Recognize opportunities to broaden client relationships and introduce additional consulting or strategic services.
• Assist in business development efforts, referrals, and growth initiatives.
• Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, accuracy, and responsiveness during client interactions.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5–6 years of pertinent professional experience in healthcare consulting, client relations, contracting, finance, payer/provider strategy, government healthcare, or a comparable field.
• Proven experience in the payer, provider, or government healthcare sector.
• Familiarity with healthcare carve-out structures, coding, methodologies, or related contracting/reimbursement concepts.
• Demonstrated proficiency in negotiating and renegotiating healthcare contracts.
• Strong financial analysis skills and business acumen.
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in analyzing complex financial, operational, or healthcare datasets.
• Background in conducting research and translating findings into strategic recommendations.
• Refined negotiation and contract management capabilities.
• Excellent executive-level communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of autonomy in a fully remote setting.
