β’ Generate new insights and actionable strategies tailored to client needs and requests.
β’ Perform comprehensive analyses to uncover the root causes of client challenges and reshape thinking to enhance strategy.
β’ Establish Insight positions within a team of analysts.
β’ Deliver independent insights to Gartner leaders and influence the research agenda.
β’ Investigate, analyze, and forecast market trends and changes.
β’ Offer actionable recommendations to clients and prospects through virtual or in-person interactions.
β’ Create and present materials for Gartner events, conferences, and client briefings.
β’ Provide support for sales initiatives and act as the market's voice.
β’ Conduct timely and high-quality peer reviews of content.
β’ Build credibility as an industry expert by representing Gartner insights, methodologies, and strategies.
β’ Engage in discussions around innovation, ideation, and research.
β’ Identify improvements in research processes and develop new service delivery methodologies.
β’ Mentor and guide junior team members.
β’ Encourage regular engagement with clients through Gartner insights and interactions.
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a graduate degree is preferred.
β’ 12+ years of relevant industry or field experience.
β’ Demonstrated leadership in software engineering, managing large-scale, multi-team software delivery organizations with responsibility for execution, quality, and results.
β’ Extensive expertise in software engineering strategy and value measurement for AI, encompassing roadmap planning, technology decision-making, performance evaluation, metrics, and ROI assessment.
β’ Practical experience in AI-native software development, including integrating AI throughout the SDLC, utilizing AI to enhance developer productivity, and optimizing software delivery results, as well as AI engineering for delivering AI applications and agents.
β’ Executive presence with the capability to build credibility with executives and stakeholders.
β’ Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines while producing high-quality deliverables.
β’ Excellent research and writing skills.
β’ Strong proficiency in written and verbal communication, analytical and presentation skills; ability to engage clients and respond effectively to inquiries.
β’ Proficiency in analyzing and synthesizing data, applying patterns and frameworks, while drawing and justifying conclusions.
β’ Strong communication skills to clearly explain complex concepts in a straightforward manner.
β’ Subject matter expertise and confidence in presenting at both large and small-scale speaking engagements.
β’ Strong business and financial acumen.
β’ In-depth knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within the relevant domain.
β’ Capability to work independently and collaborate across teams in a multicultural global setting.
β’ Learning agility and the ability to navigate highly matrixed environments.
β’ Aptitude to effectively represent Gartner's research methodologies and strategies at all organizational levels.
β’ Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% when necessary.
