This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute and support the strategic vision for designated Accounts Receivable functions within Service Delivery.
• Direct, lead, and manage Accounts Receivable personnel, including tasks related to recruitment, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
• Supervise daily accounting operations, which encompass accounts receivable, EDI, rejection management, and denial management.
• Implement and enhance departmental best practices, policies, and standardized workflows through ongoing improvement efforts.
• Monitor outstanding accounts receivable and devise action plans using inventory management and root cause analysis techniques.
• Develop, monitor, and attain departmental metrics and enterprise benchmarks.
• Foster productive inter-departmental relationships through collaboration, leadership, and comprehensive problem-solving.
• Analyze collection trends and the effectiveness of payment processing; assist in creating executive summaries.
• Provide executive oversight for system upgrades concerning AR inventory applications.
• Conduct regular management meetings to review accounting data and address any concerns.
• Oversee RCM offshore relationships, resources, and productivity objectives.
• Design and implement a BPO tracker that compares performance against KPIs.
• Collaborate with both offshore and U.S. service delivery/collections teams to uphold client expectations.
• Participate in bi-weekly offshore team meetings focused on client issues and KPI metrics.
• Coordinate with offshore lead generation and delivery teams to facilitate new business initiatives.
• Manage vendor relationships and associated assignments.
• Undertake special projects and additional duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Benefits, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent training and/or experience.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in revenue cycle management or accounts receivable within the healthcare and/or health insurance sectors.
• At least two (2) years of supervisory, management, or leadership experience is preferred.
• Experience with offshore billing is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of revenue cycle metrics is essential.
• Familiarity with medical billing requirements is necessary.
• Knowledge of business and financial processes and procedures is required.
• Strong supervisory and management capabilities are crucial.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills at the management level are needed.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and healthcare data analysis is required.
• Strong skills in developing and delivering presentations are necessary.
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software.
• Strong decision-making, organizational, time management, problem-solving, and mathematical abilities are essential.
• Capability to present financial reporting and healthcare analytics to executives and managers is required.
• Ability to adapt communication styles for different audiences is essential.
• Professional communication skills with business stakeholders and IT personnel are necessary.
• Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams is required.
