Senior Digital UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with Design, Product, Development, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on projects while achieving quality, efficiency, and speed goals.

• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of customer journeys, personas, and segmentation across various projects.

• Convert intricate cognitive challenges into seamless user experiences across multiple channels.

• Secure stakeholder backing by effectively communicating the design vision and its rationale.

• Envision, design, and define innovative user experiences through research and user objectives.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary design team to refine and elevate digital experiences for consumers.

• Articulate user needs and illustrate how proposed designs address those needs.

• Present to senior stakeholders and foster support for UX initiatives.

• Guide junior designers and collaborate with designers, strategists, managers, and technologists.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in designing for desktop and native applications, including XD and visual design.

• 3 years of experience leading design collaboration sessions with diverse stakeholders.

• Demonstrated experience in driving design from initial concepts to market-ready experiences.

• A strong portfolio showcasing desktop, native app, mobile web, and responsive design experiences.

• Proven ability to define design direction, communicate rationale to non-design audiences, and advocate for design choices.

• Proficiency in Figma.

• Capability to mentor junior designers.

• Solid understanding of design systems and component-based design.

• Strong knowledge of native mobile and responsive web platforms.

• Familiarity with integrating AI into the design process.

• Practical experience with wireframing and prototyping tools.

• Ability to work collaboratively within an agile framework alongside product owners, scrum masters, and engineering teams.

• Knowledge of user-centered design principles and processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, User Experience, Graphic Design, Information Design, Product Design, Human Factors, or equivalent/relevant work experience.
