Senior Digital Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Assist the Director of Brand and Creative and the Lead Designer.

• Produce impactful, visually appealing, and strategically aligned creative graphics for various platforms including websites, social media, email marketing, packaging, public relations initiatives, digital paid media, sales presentations, renders, retail deliverables, and additional channels.

• Ideate and implement creative concepts across digital platforms such as social media, digital advertisements, direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels, email marketing, retailer product detail pages (PDPs), and presentation decks.

• Transform creative briefs into strategic design solutions that convey engaging narratives.

• Work collaboratively with both internal and external cross-functional teams on brand initiatives, product launches, and customer engagement strategies.

• Generate and share innovative ideas with social and creative teams.

• Revise and manage existing materials to reflect contemporary design trends.

• Maintain a repository of graphic assets for team utilization.

• Develop digital mockups for sales outreach.

• Create style guides and pitch decks for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Produce social media content, including static images, GIFs, and videos.

• Collaborate with the team to implement social media calendars and campaigns.

• Brainstorm novel ways to visualize content and provide brand experiences that drive sales, enhance engagement, and foster community.

• Uphold brand identity and voice across all creative assets.

• Stay informed about emerging design trends, functionalities, and industry best practices.

• Potentially support the creative team with copywriting tasks across different platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a designer across various mediums, including digital and print.

• Background in consumer packaged goods (CPG) and packaging design.

• Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop.

• Experience or interest in light copywriting is a significant advantage.

• Strong proficiency in motion design.

• Competent in AI prompting and design development in post-production.

• Experience in illustration.

• Creative, quick to learn, enthusiastic, adaptable, and able to work effectively within teams.

• Solid understanding of branding, marketing, advertising, packaging, and digital media.

• Ability to align design execution with brand identity and feel.

• Strong grasp of character and story, with the capability to express them through graphics.

• Familiarity with Figma is a plus.

• Comprehensive knowledge of and enthusiasm for typography, color theory, layout, and spatial composition.

• Proven experience in photo retouching, editing, and color correction.

• Web development experience is an added advantage.

• Ability to excel in a dynamic and constantly evolving work environment.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Experience in agency or retail settings is a bonus.

• Strong organizational skills and project management capabilities, particularly in a fast-paced, agile environment.

• Effective communication skills, both orally, visually, and in writing.

• A robust portfolio showcasing exceptional visual craftsmanship across multiple mediums.
