This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Design, construct, and sustain GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
β’ Assist in the transition of legacy repositories and workflows from BitBucket to GitLab.
β’ Architect, implement, and oversee infrastructure across AWS GovCloud, edge, and Navy networks utilizing Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab.
β’ Propel the containerization of essential applications like NADACS and SPECTR.
β’ Manage Kubernetes environments.
β’ Create and uphold Helm charts.
β’ Guarantee cluster resilience through automated backups and recovery testing for Kubernetes using tools such as Velero.
β’ Automate the hardening of RHEL images and execution of STIG checklists.
β’ Embed continuous automated security scanning within pipelines to retain ATO status.
β’ Facilitate ICAM integration.
β’ Implement continuous monitoring, alerting, and reporting using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
β’ Oversee cryptographic lifecycles, secrets management, and automated key rotation.
β’ Collaborate with developers, DevSecOps engineers, and Navy personnel to ensure platform stability, security, and efficiency.
β’ Active Secret clearance or higher is mandatory.
β’ Must comply with DoD 8570/8140 baseline certifications, such as CompTIA Security+ CE.
β’ Over 5 years of experience as a DevSecOps or Platform Engineer in DoD, federal, or heavily regulated environments.
β’ Extensive experience in deploying and managing AWS GovCloud and hybrid cloud infrastructures.
β’ Practical experience in Kubernetes administration.
β’ Development of custom Helm charts; CKAD or CKA certification is preferred.
β’ Strong expertise in RHEL system administration and automated system/container hardening scripting.
β’ Advanced skills in building GitLab pipelines.
β’ Experience in migrating repositories and workflows from BitBucket to GitLab.
β’ Automation-focused approach with a security-first mindset.
β’ Familiarity with ICAM protocols such as SAML, OAuth2, and OIDC.
β’ Proficient in at least one programming language, such as Python.
β’ Candidates must fulfill eligibility requirements for a U.S. Government security clearance.
β’ Only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
β’ A Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred as a bonus, but not required.
β’ Previous experience in U.S. Navy programs or command-and-control platforms, IL5+ security/operations experience, and AWS certification are considered bonus qualifications.
β’ Some travel may be required.
