BI Platform Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Create and implement Power BI dashboards and reports that convert data into actionable business insights.

• Design, optimize, and maintain scalable semantic models for reliable, self-service analytics.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify challenges, discover opportunities, and deliver solutions that generate value.

• Improve the enterprise BI platform through effective reporting design, user experience, governance, and performance best practices.

• Develop and enhance deployment processes utilizing Azure DevOps and CI/CD frameworks.

• Oversee platform performance, diagnose issues, and enhance user experience.

• Uphold data governance, security, and quality standards.

• Participate in a collaborative, high-performing data team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI.

• In-depth knowledge of data modeling, DAX, SQL, and best practices in data visualization.

• Familiarity with modern cloud-based analytics platforms, preferably Microsoft Fabric.

• Understanding of BI governance, security, and performance optimization principles.

• Experience in supporting deployment and release processes in environments that utilize CI/CD practices.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and skill in simplifying complex concepts for diverse stakeholders.

• A collaborative mindset and a passion for assisting others in using data to enhance decision-making.

• A mindset geared toward continuous improvement and eagerness to learn new technologies and methodologies.

• Must be residing in Malaysia with full working rights.
