This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.
• Continuously enhance the security of AWS and Kubernetes platforms.
• Fortify IAM, RBAC, encryption, secrets management, and network controls via secure-by-default policy-as-code.
• Oversee edge security, encompassing traffic filtering, WAF configuration, and management of external exposures.
• Conduct security evaluations of new services, architectural modifications, and platform components.
• Integrate automated security measures into the SDLC and CI/CD processes, including SAST, dependency scanning, container scanning, and policy enforcement.
• Direct vulnerability management processes that encompass detection, assessment, prioritization, and reporting.
• Incorporate automation and AI-assisted tools to enhance security reviews and lessen manual workload.
• Define and establish security protocols for AI infrastructure components, such as gateways, MCP servers, and model proxies.
• Identify and address AI-specific threats, including prompt injection, data leakage, and agent privilege escalation.
• Collaborate closely with security and engineering teams and contribute to the long-term security vision.
• A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in DevSecOps, Cloud Security, or related disciplines.
• Robust hands-on experience managing AWS and Kubernetes in production settings.
• Experience in implementing security measures within Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong understanding of access control, secrets management, network security, and encryption.
• Familiarity with container security and prevalent application security vulnerabilities.
• Extensive knowledge of AI/LLM security threats, including prompt injection, data leakage, model exploitation, and agent privilege escalation.
• Practical experience in securing AI infrastructure elements like LLM gateways, MCP servers, or agent-based workflows.
• Proficient in scripting and working within Git-based development environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and product teams.
• Comfortable communicating clearly in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in scaling security practices in rapidly growing or regulated environments is a plus.
• Experience in developing internal security tools or automation from the ground up is a plus.
