This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +3 more countries.
β’ Contribute to cloud architectural designs utilizing the AWS Well-Architected Framework pillars: Security, Operational Excellence, Performance Efficiency, Reliability, and Cost Optimization
β’ Take ownership of the AWS environment, encompassing ECS Fargate services, Lambda and Batch workloads, RDS PostgreSQL, ElastiCache Redis, S3, CloudWatch, networking/IAM, and Bedrock
β’ Manage infrastructure as code with reviewable and repeatable provisioning for development, testing, staging, and production environments
β’ Operate the observability and self-hosted Langfuse stack, which includes deployment, upgrades, backup/restore processes, and access control
β’ Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and platform compliance gates, incorporating logging-standard contract tests and a logging-conformance linter
β’ Oversee secrets management, artifact/image pipelines, and blue/green or rolling deployment strategies
β’ Manage the OpenTelemetry pipeline from SDK through Collector and CloudWatch, using Langfuse for LLM traces
β’ Maintain per-tenant usage and cost infrastructure, along with platform dashboards, alerting, and SLOs
β’ Uphold trace retention and masking in alignment with data governance standards
β’ Assist product teams with environment-related issues, deployment inquiries, and performance debugging
β’ Maintain a robust security posture that supports SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR commitments via least-privilege IAM, network isolation, encryption, and audit trails
β’ Facilitate PII-masking architecture at the infrastructure level
β’ 5+ years of experience in platform, SRE, or DevOps roles managing production workloads on AWS (experience with other cloud platforms is preferred)
β’ Extensive hands-on experience with ECS (or EKS), RDS, ElastiCache, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, and VPC networking
β’ Strong practice in infrastructure as code utilizing Terraform or CDK
β’ Ownership of CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools
β’ Familiarity with Claude Code and AI Spec Driven Design
β’ Experience in operating stateful open-source systems in production, including ClickHouse or similar columnar/analytics stores like Druid or Pinot, or significant database operations expertise with Postgres at scale, Elasticsearch, or Kafka
β’ Working knowledge of OpenTelemetry, covering collectors, exporters, sampling, and instrumentation conventions
β’ A security-first approach to IAM policies, secrets, and data boundaries
β’ Experience with multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred
β’ Prior experience in self-hosting LLM/GenAI tools like Langfuse, LiteLLM, or vLLM, or managing GenAI workloads such as Bedrock and token cost management is preferred
β’ Proficiency in scripting/automation with Python or Go is preferred
β’ Previous work in a compliance-driven environment involving SOC 2 audits, HIPAA, or GDPR data residency is preferred
β’ Experience with multi-tenant SaaS operations, including tenant isolation, per-tenant metering, and noisy-neighbor management is preferred
β’ FinOps experience related to AWS cost allocation, tagging strategies, and per-tenant cost attribution is preferred
