Senior DevOps, Infrastructure Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and sustain essential components of our cloud platform.

• Offer technical support and infrastructure delivery for Inflect's AWS EKS environment.

• Develop and manage Terraform modules on AWS EKS, handle managed RDS instances, ingress controllers, and optimize cost architectures.

• Create frameworks for SLO/SLI tracking and automate the monitoring of error budgets.

• Engage in post-incident technical evaluations and develop automated tools to minimize operational friction.

• Design and oversee the OpenTelemetry capture pipeline that serves downstream Data Foundation and Trust & Intelligence pods.

• Conduct specialized code reviews, assess pull requests, and provide recommendations for technical architecture.

• Create reusable platform patterns and automated CI/CD tools to enhance developer deployment workflows.

• Define the operating model and maintain a comprehensive global runbook that includes SOPs, regional coordination, and issue remediation/management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) utilized on AWS EKS, RDS, ingress controllers, TLS certificate automation, and tuning for cloud costs/capacity.

• Demonstrated success in defining SLOs/SLIs, establishing error budget frameworks, and creating automation to minimize system toil.

• Practical experience in designing and managing OpenTelemetry collection and routing pipelines.

• Proficient in professional English communication for cross-border asynchronous collaboration and code review consultation.

• Contractor must be registered with the SAT, such as RESICO or Persona Física con Actividad Empresarial.

• Contractor must provide valid CFDI invoices uploaded through Rippling.
