DevSecOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and construct significant infrastructure components and platforms.

• Spearhead Kubernetes strategies and container orchestration solutions.

• Enhance memory management, resource allocation, network traffic, and overall system efficiency.

• Implement Service Level Objectives (SLOs), as well as monitoring and observability solutions.

• Architect scalable and resilient AWS infrastructures across multiple regions.

• Engage in on-call rotations, leading complex incident resolutions and conducting post-incident analyses.

• Refine existing infrastructure through gradual improvements.

• Advance CI/CD pipelines and deployment methodologies.

• Incorporate AI tools into infrastructure workflows.

• Work in partnership with security teams to create secure-by-design infrastructures.

• Develop cost-effective infrastructure and execute optimization strategies.

• Mentor fellow infrastructure engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Systems Administration, or a related technical field; professional experience may substitute for candidates without engineering degrees.

• 6-8+ years of practical experience in infrastructure engineering.

• Proven history of designing and implementing scalable infrastructure solutions.

• Strong expertise in Kubernetes and Docker.

• Proficient in AWS and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, and Ansible.

• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of both infrastructure and applications.

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools including Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.

• Skilled in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, Go, and Ruby.

• Experience in enhancing established infrastructure environments.

• Strong collaborative skills, promoting open communication, transparency, and cross-team collaboration.

• Desired: Knowledge of SRE practices, AI infrastructure workflows, database administration and optimization, multi-regional infrastructures, legacy modernization, Node.js performance optimization, profiling tools, network infrastructure and security, infrastructure security and compliance, cloud cost optimization, service mesh technologies, GCP/Azure, and disaster recovery.
