Senior DevOps Engineer - Jenkins, CI/CD, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Assume complete responsibility for CI/CD infrastructure, designing and maintaining robust, scalable deployment pipelines utilizing Jenkins, Docker, and AWS.

• Oversee and enhance containerized environments to ensure consistent and reliable builds across local and cloud setups.

• Develop, refactor, and maintain automation scripts in Python and Bash, as well as Jenkins shared libraries in Groovy.

• Track, analyze, and report on DORA metrics, pinpointing delivery bottlenecks and implementing enhancements.

• Promote developer productivity by eliminating obstacles within the SDLC and facilitating quicker, safer code delivery.

• Independently resolve complex issues related to build, deployment, and cloud infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant, hands-on experience in architecting and maintaining Jenkins infrastructure.

• Strong expertise in containerization technologies, particularly Docker.

• Solid practical experience with cloud computing platforms, specifically AWS.

• Proficient scripting abilities for automation using Bash and Python.

• Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and CI/CD best practices.

• Strong grasp of DORA metrics and the methodologies to assess and enhance them.

• Advanced knowledge of Git and version control workflows.

• Experience in writing Jenkins pipelines in Groovy is preferred.

• Familiarity with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes or ECS is preferred.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is preferred.
